They want to charge up front for an alignment before even checking if needed. Say it will be reimbursed if not needed. Saw the tech go straight to performing alignment without even checking. I asked and he confirmed he was performing without having checked first. Turns out wasn’t perfect (of course) but also didn’t really need it. Almost any car you check is not going to be perfectly within factory spec so by that logic all cars need alignment? It was reimbursed in the end, but feels way too up-selly and not very honest because they would have done it and charged me for it had I not asked. And again, why charge for it first without checking ? Check first, then try to sell it and charge then. Also every tire had a different PSI on the brand new set of 4 that I had just had them install. Come on guys all you do is tires, I would at least expect even PSI for all tires after install.

Just wanted to take the time to share my great experience at Discount Tire on H Street. Came in for new MTs for my 4runner. Rarely do I add reviews as most my experiences, although good, are not enough to warrant one. However, I’m making an exception today 5/23/2026. From start to finish I cannot say enough how well I was treated. Christian was very welcoming and professional. He guided me through the whole process and appreciate his kindness. Now the guys on the floor who went above and beyond dismounting and mounting my new Yokohamas are the real standouts in this review. Just wanted to give thanks to Mike, Kaleb, Alex and Diego! You gentlemen did an outstanding job! What was very impressive was the teamwork I witness and efficiency of their work. You all are great. Best Discount Tire experience to date

My truck has a very finicky alignment and I’ve taken my Tacoma to 2 different alignment shops in SD and LA and no one can seem to get it right but Alex from discount tire… he does a fantastic job, he didn’t get it perfect right at first but he took his time and made sure to fix it before I left the shop. 10/10 customer service. I wouldn’t recommend any other tire shop but Discount on H street!

We went in thinking we would need to purchase a tire. There was a big screw in the tire. They pulled it out, plugged it and put a patch on the inside of the tire. They all were professional and friendly. Service was quick and the best of this... They didn't try to get us to buy a new tire. They offered a safe fix at no cost. Wow!

First time coming to Discount Tires. Carlos P. was very helpful and nice and I appreciated his knowledge and customer service. Carlos explained what my vehicle needed and the service was done fast! They also run great promos right now. Will definitely be returning here for my vehicle needs.
